Scott Talkov

Scott TalkovWelcome to ScottTalkov.com. I am a California attorney practicing at the Riverside law firm of Reid & Hellyer where I focus on real estate and business litigation. My extensive background in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing, has allowed me to help numerous legal, political, civic and governmental organizations to be noticed in the digital age.

Civically, I am involved in the Riverside County Bar Association and Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce, as well as on the board of the Riverside County Barristers Association. I also helped to establish the Associated Students of U.C. Riverside Legal Education Clinic, where I currently serve as Director, linking students with local attorneys in the community to help them with their legal predicaments. I am also the President of the Riverside County Young Democrats, where I help connect the young leaders of tomorrow to the political leadership of today.

I grew up in the Los Angeles suburb of Walnut. While in high school, I served on the City’s Youth Advisory Commission and learned valuable leadership skills in Boy Scouts of America, Troop 789. I continued on to college at U.C. Riverside and graduated from U.C. Santa Barbara in 2004.

In 2009, I graduated cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, where I served as the Online Supplement Editor for the Washington University Law Review. My academic research paper on real estate finance was published in the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal of the American Bar Association.

While in law school, I was featured in the L.A. Times during the 2008 presidential race as my roommate and I were the “odd couple” due to our differing political stripes. Just days later, we were both invited to serve as political analysts for CNN on election night.
